Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 0) Don Felder made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Gowganda's goal looked a bit too open when Don Felder came free, but Herbert Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabrice Demers in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Randell Duhamel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gowganda's Herbert Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Valentine in the 16th minute of play. In the 17thth minute of the game Don Felder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gowganda's Herbert Moreno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emil Valentine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Moreno having to interfere. Emil Valentine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Herbert Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gowganda's Heath Rocher got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Emil Valentine notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gowganda's Herbert Moreno. Herbert Moreno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Brownsburg booed when Gowganda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lanny Louis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herbert Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freeman Brodeur, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Fabrice Demers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gowganda's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabrice Demers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Randell Duhamel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabrice Demers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tod Wetzel kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Don Felder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emil Valentine's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Herbert Moreno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. After 70 minutes, Heath Rocher mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gowganda and the Brownsburg players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Gowganda getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Heath Rocher hit a great ball. Emil Valentines short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Herbert Moreno to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Brownsburg's Emil Valentine got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Herbert Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Don Felder in the 75th minute of play. Herbert Moreno didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Brownsburg's Emil Valentine shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. After 79 played minutes Brownsburg got a freekick which was hit by Columbus Petersen. If Valentin Mazuret had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentin Mazuret fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Randell Duhamel having to interfere. Don Felder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Herbert Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gowganda's Herbert Moreno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Gowganda from getting a goal against them. Don Felder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Gowganda supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Brownsburg's performance. The match ended with a win for Brownsburg.
