The Ayersville FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frank Browne should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Eastmain's Benjamin Story got control of the ball when Ambroise Sicard tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Leonel Tardif had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eastmain's Benjamin Story played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Émile Wiggins in the 39th minute of play.

If Kris McClure had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonel Tardif received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Frank Browne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benjamin Story took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Émile Wiggins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamin Story showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambroise Sicard in the 72nd minute of the match. Émile Wiggins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ayersville FC's Ambroise Sicard got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ambroise Sicard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benjamin Story came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Ayersville FC's Ambroise Sicard. But to his dismay, Ambroise Sicard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. With a little luck, Ayersville FC's Frank Browne got control of the ball when Leonel Tardif tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adam Kerr's late challenge caught a Eastmain's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adam Kerr helped the player get up and apologised. After 92 played minutes Ayersville FC got a freekick which was hit by Adam Kerr. Benjamin Story showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambroise Sicard in the 95th minute of the match.
