In the 18th minute Fabian Roy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Koehler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stan Edwards in the 27th minute of play forced Rockport AFC's goalkeeper Olen Clemons to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Stan Edwards's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olen Clemons was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Stan Edwards put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Olen Clemons. 32 minutes into the game, Damien Elliot was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lancaster's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rockport AFC the free kick. 1-1 came in the 34th minute when Geoffroi Ortiz all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Marcel Koehler. After 39 minutes, Major Brian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lancaster and the Rockport AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Lancaster getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Major Brian hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Fabian Roy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rockport AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabian Roy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcel Koehler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 47 minutes into the match, Rockport AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fiacre Bussière came free, but Olen Clemons reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabian Roy to strike the kick off in the second half. Mary Cardenas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olen Clemons having to interfere. Marcel Koehler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Roy in the 56th minute of the match. Jamar Richey kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Stan Edwards got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Rockport AFC's zone, Fiacre Bussière stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olen Clemons came out of the goal and Fiacre Bussière tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Humberto Sexton's late challenge caught a Rockport AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Humberto Sexton helped the player get up and apologised. After 71 played minutes Lancaster got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Sexton. Marcel Koehler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilburn Herman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stan Edwards received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Olen Clemons tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rockport AFC's Brady Feliciano suffered a sore thigh after 88 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 88 minutes, Fiacre Bussière mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lancaster and the Rockport AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wilburn Herman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Lancaster's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Rockport AFC had won, even though Lancaster had held more of the ball.
