Rico Henderson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Wiley Pinneau fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fraserdale AFC's protests and gave Wiley Pinneau a yellow card for diving instead. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Fraserdale AFC's goalie and right to Carlton Yost. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Fraserdale AFC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Narcisse Vaughn stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Bastien Lockhart managed to get in a good position for a shot. The referee ignored Fraserdale AFC's protests and gave Armel Chavis a yellow card for diving instead. Armel Chavis hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Wiley Pinneau got his second yellow card in the match during the 76th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Wiley Pinneau hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Narcisse Vaughn might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chung Landers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Narcisse Vaughn ran back to his position shaking his head. Bastien Lockharts short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Rico Henderson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Fraserdale AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
