When Merle Goodman came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Harmony AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Merle Goodman couldn't finish the play. Boiestown FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Edmond Rosa scored to the left of an out of position Brian Verreau, making the score, 1-1. Brant Lovett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brian Verreau was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edmond Rosa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 19 minute of play. Boiestown FC's Brian Verreau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmond Rosa in the 54th minute of play. In the 60th minute Edmond Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Verreau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Brant Lovett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Harmony AFC's Zack Pouchard got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Brant Lovett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Sheffield having to interfere. If Merle Goodman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd match minute, Harmony AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmond Rosa to maneuver through the defense. Boiestown FC's Mariano Lamare suffered a sore knee after 93 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 94th minute, Edmond Rosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Boiestown FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
