If Iréné Caron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Constantin Garnier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jérôme Maloney in the 20th minute of the match. Jérôme Maloney recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jérôme Maloney scored 0-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Constantin Garnier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 27 minutes into the match, Boiestown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Homer Horner came free, but Brian Verreau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Homer Horner to make the kick off. Jérôme Maloney's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Constantin Garnier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Art Kuhn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Art Kuhn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brant Lovett in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Constantin Garnier, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jérôme Maloney was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 69th minute. Boiestown FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 92nd minute, Brant Lovett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brian Verreau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Homer Horner, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Boiestown FC's zone, Homer Horner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brian Verreau came out of the goal and Homer Horner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Boiestown FC's Jérôme Maloney got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
