Collin Hatfield received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Rico Henderson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Carson Calloway hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Collin Hatfield in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rico Henderson saved Chabatok FC from getting behind. Rico Henderson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Merchant in the 27th minute of the match. Rico Henderson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Merchant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jack Kidd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narcisse Vaughn, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the game, Chabatok FC's Jacinto Cloutier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jack Kidd made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Major Merchant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Chabatok FC's Rico Henderson got control of the ball when Collin Hatfield tried to sneak it across the goal line. Major Merchant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th minute Major Merchant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rico Henderson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Narcisse Vaughn was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, St. Lawrence FC's goalkeeper Jack Kidd had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacinto Cloutier. 54 minutes into the game, Major Merchant was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. St. Lawrence FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chabatok FC the free kick. In the 54th minute, Major Merchant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ezequiel Ruff hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Jack Kidd was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. A hard, long distance shot from Collin Hatfield flew over the goal. Jacinto Cloutier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Kidd having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Vance Key hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Major Merchant struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Rico Henderson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for St. Lawrence FC. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
