Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Robt Hansen got the match started through his kick off. In the 6th minute, Robt Hansen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brian Verreau was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 8 played minutes Sointula got a freekick which was hit by Russel Coronado. In the 13th minute, Ron Farrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Boiestown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Omer Wise came free, but Brian Verreau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mariano Lamare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th match minute, Sointula was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joachim Veilleux to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Omer Wise managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sointula's supporters rose to their feet, but Omer Wise was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brian Verreau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Omer Wise came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Sointula fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Omer Wise couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd match minute, Sointula was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cory Weathers to maneuver through the defense. Boiestown FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ron Farrell in the 36th minute. Ron Farrell made a great header on Boiestown FC's corner, it was just that Sointula's Parker Haley managed to reach the ball for a save. Boiestown FC's Brian Verreau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robt Hansen in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robt Hansen in the 41st minute of play forced Boiestown FC's goalkeeper Brian Verreau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jérôme Maloney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Parker Haley having to interfere. Parker Haley stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jérôme Maloney's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. The Boiestown FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sointula were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jérôme Maloney to make the kick off. Parker Haley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 61 minutes, Jérôme Maloney managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boiestown FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jérôme Maloney was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Boiestown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Robt Hansen came free, but Brian Verreau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Robt Hansen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brian Verreau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robt Hansen in the 69th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nolan Bloom during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Brant Lovett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brant Lovett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
