A collision led to Morson FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Antony Allen hit a great ball. In the 8th minute, Todd Hawkins left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Morson FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Collin Hatfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Morson FC's goalkeeper Eddie Senneville, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jack Kidd was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Ulysses Arias capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ulysses Arias really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Todd Hawkins got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 28 minutes into the match, St. Lawrence FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ulysses Arias came free, but Jack Kidd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulysses Arias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Kidd having to interfere. Morson FC's Eddie Senneville played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Collin Hatfield in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Major Merchant was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Duncan Blanton in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jack Kidd saved St. Lawrence FC from getting behind. Jack Kidd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antony Allen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in St. Lawrence FC's zone, Ulysses Arias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jack Kidd came out of the goal and Ulysses Arias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. St. Lawrence FC's Jack Kidd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Todd Hawkins in the 67th minute of play. Jack Kidd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Todd Hawkins in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Ulysses Arias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eddie Senneville made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Collin Hatfield sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th minute, Ulysses Arias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jack Kidd was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 89 played minutes Morson FC got a freekick which was hit by Antony Allen. Todd Hawkins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Kidd having to interfere. Todd Hawkins struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Jack Kidd didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Morson FC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ezequiel Ruff during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 96th minute, Ezequiel Ruff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xavier Hicks's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Jack Kidd on his right side and into the goal. 97 minutes into the game it was 4-0. There was no doubt that Morson FC were the better team. Morson FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
