The referee ignored Arvida's protests and gave Jeremiah Matthews a yellow card for diving instead. Jeremiah Matthews kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Wyatt McNamara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brant Lovett in the 3rd minute of the match. Boiestown FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ron Farrell in the 5th minute. Ron Farrell made a great header on Boiestown FC's corner, it was just that Arvida's Wyatt McNamara managed to reach the ball for a save. Bernie Lacharité recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brian Verreau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalton Patterson, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Jérôme Maloney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wyatt McNamara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brant Lovett in the 20th minute of the match. Brant Lovett might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wyatt McNamara. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brant Lovett ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 28th minute, Jérôme Maloney got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Jérôme Maloney's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wyatt McNamara was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. If Brant Lovett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brian Verreau made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernie Lacharité in the 39th minute. Gerald Hammer's late challenge caught a Arvida's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerald Hammer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th match minute, Boiestown FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerald Hammer to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jérôme Maloney was the one to do the kick off. Bernie Lacharité sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 played minutes Boiestown FC got a freekick which was hit by Ron Farrell. Bret Barrett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wyatt McNamara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jérôme Maloney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Brant Lovett got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Brant Lovett blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wyatt McNamara having to make a save. 68 minutes into the game, Jérôme Maloney recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wyatt McNamara. Jérôme Maloney showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. 72 minutes into the game, Dalton Patterson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arvida's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boiestown FC the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brant Lovett got free with Wyatt McNamara in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 83rdth minute of the game Jérôme Maloney who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arvida's Wyatt McNamara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 86th minute Bernie Lacharité shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Verreau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 90 played minutes Boiestown FC got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Lamare. Arvida's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Jérôme Maloney scored to the left of an out of position Wyatt McNamara, making the score, 0-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Boiestown FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
