Spectators: 6727 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 0) Boiestown FC's Jérôme Maloney started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Major Merchant in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brian Verreau saved Boiestown FC from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 6th minute by Jérôme Maloney got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 10 played minutes St. Lawrence FC got a freekick which was hit by Ignace Conklin. Jack Kidd made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Brant Lovett sent off a good shot on target. St. Lawrence FC's Jack Kidd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jérôme Maloney in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Merchant in the 22nd minute of play forced Boiestown FC's goalkeeper Brian Verreau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jack Kidd was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jérôme Maloney showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. Jérôme Maloney kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Brant Lovett received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jack Kidd came out and tried to block the shot, but Brant Lovett slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 32nd minute. The supporters of Boiestown FC booed when St. Lawrence FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel Ruff didn't get a good kick on the ball. Major Merchant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Verreau having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Gerald Hammer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Major Merchant blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brian Verreau having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in St. Lawrence FC's zone, Brant Lovett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jack Kidd came out of the goal and Brant Lovett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Jérôme Maloney's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jack Kidd was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Brant Lovett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brant Lovett struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Jack Kidd didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boiestown FC. If Jérôme Maloney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Brant Lovett came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Boiestown FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brant Lovett couldn't finish the play. In the 71st minute, Gerald Hammer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stevie Rucker hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute Brant Lovett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jack Kidd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brian Verreau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Merchant, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Jack Kidd stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brant Lovett's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. St. Lawrence FC were furious when Rudolf Rhoades was red carded, 84 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 88th match minute, St. Lawrence FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bud Salas to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the St. Lawrence FC defense, Jérôme Maloney kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jack Kidd. The St. Lawrence FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jack Kidd should have stopped the shot. Boiestown FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
