Homer Horner might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chung Landers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Homer Horner ran back to his position shaking his head. Iréné Caron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Constantin Garnier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vernon Osborn went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Iréné Caron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Chung Landers made a huge save. Fraserdale AFC's Chung Landers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Homer Horner in the 31st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Fraserdale AFC's Armel Chavis got a free kick in the 35th minute. Fraserdale AFC's Chung Landers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Fraserdale AFC from getting a goal against them. The Foymount FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fraserdale AFC were winning 0-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Homer Horner in the 52nd minute of play forced Fraserdale AFC's goalkeeper Chung Landers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bastien Lockhart's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Constantin Garnier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Vernon Osborn blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Constantin Garnier having to make a save. In the 57th minute, Phil Sheehan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Renard Leonard from long distance, 58 minutes into the match, got Constantin Garnier's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Brock Ferris kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After having played for 69 minutes, Vernon Osborn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fraserdale AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vernon Osborn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Foymount FC's goalkeeper Constantin Garnier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bastien Lockhart.
