Spectators: 6728 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) Brenton Cline started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Haywood Greer took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Von Dubé. Von Dubé dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Alphonse Harper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Von Dubé tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Franchere's Von Dubé played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alphonse Harper in the 24th minute of play. In the 29th minute Brenton Cline shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernard Hillman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Letite's Haywood Greer got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 31 played minutes Franchere got a freekick which was hit by Harold Brousseau. Haywood Greer struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Von Dubé didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Letite. Von Dubé came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Letite's Alphonse Harper. But to his dismay, Alphonse Harper quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Haywood Greer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Von Dubé having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Alphonse Harper made the kick off in the second half. Alphonse Harper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Von Dubé tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Haywood Greer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Von Dubé was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Alphonse Harper managed to get in a good position for a shot. Letite's supporters rose to their feet, but Alphonse Harper was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Von Dubé breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th match minute, Franchere was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harold Brousseau to maneuver through the defense. Haywood Greer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Von Dubé made a huge save. Von Dubé made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alphonse Harper in the 73rd minute of play. In the 79th minute, Letite's Alphonse Harper dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. After 85 played minutes Letite got a freekick which was hit by Marquis Waters. 86 minutes into the match, Franchere's Humberto Simms broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. James Blackburn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by James Blackburn in the 93rd minute of play forced Letite's goalkeeper Bernard Hillman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brenton Cline hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The Franchere fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Letite were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
