Spectators: 6717 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 0) Minitonas FC's Johnie Cardona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Scotty Caron in the 9th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Chapleau AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Shah came free, but Ronald Lejeune reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felicien Castaneda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erasmo Shah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Ronald Lejeune tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Scotty Caron blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Johnie Cardona having to make a save. In the 34th minute, Minitonas FC's Erasmo Shah ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ronald Lejeune. Ronald Lejeune yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Erasmo Shah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felicien Castaneda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute Scotty Caron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnie Cardona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, one of Minitonas FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Fredric Beavers shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luther Bird to make the kick off. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Minitonas FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fredric Beavers was slow to take the kick. During this time Chapleau AFC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Fredric Beavers almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Minitonas FC's Johnie Cardona did a great save. In the 58th minute Luther Bird shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnie Cardona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Scotty Caron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luther Bird kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Scotty Caron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnie Cardona having to interfere. Erasmo Shah blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ronald Lejeune having to make a save. If Erasmo Shah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Minitonas FC's Erasmo Shah suffered a concussion after 82 minutes and had to leave the field. 82 minutes into the game, Franklin Gregg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chapleau AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Minitonas FC the free kick. Jed McConnell hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After 97 minutes of play, Minitonas FC's Felicien Castaneda made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ronald Lejeune was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Minitonas FC had won after a very even match.
