The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Solomon Seay in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roy Tabor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Léonard Starnes came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Keewatin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Léonard Starnes couldn't finish the play. Perry Wiley's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jamie Casgrain read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Léonard Starnes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jamie Casgrain having to interfere. Everett Labrecque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Roy Tabor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everett Labrecque in the 40th minute of play forced Keewatin's goalkeeper Roy Tabor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Solomon Seay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roy Tabor having to make a save. Keewatin's Perry Wiley got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Léonard Starnes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jamie Casgrain having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Everett Labrecque to strike the kick off in the second half. Keewatin's Roy Tabor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everett Labrecque in the 53rd minute of play. Solomon Seay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 81 minutes, Solomon Seay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manseau FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Solomon Seay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute, Everett Labrecque left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manseau FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Perry Wiley charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Perry Wiley the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Manseau FC booed when Keewatin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perry Wiley didn't get a good kick on the ball. With 91 minutes on the clock, Harold Feldman commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Keewatin! In the 94th minute there was a penalty for Manseau FC. Gustave Desroches stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Roy Tabor. 0-2. In the 98th minute, Solomon Seay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manseau FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Manseau FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
