The supporters of Clondyke AFC booed when Waskatenau AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rick Delgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wiley Hester in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roger Lozano saved Waskatenau AFC from getting behind. Burt Salinas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Roger Lozano made a huge save. 59 minutes into the game, Hiram Bower was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clondyke AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Waskatenau AFC the free kick. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle.
