Johnathon Berthelette thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Roger Lozano, a very annoying self made goal in the 4th minute which led to 0-1. Roger Lozano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Perry Wiley in the 7th minute of the match. Constantin Collins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roy Tabor having to interfere. Waskatenau AFC's Roger Lozano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perry Wiley in the 17th minute of play. Roger Lozano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Perry Wiley in the 19th minute of the match. Roy Tabor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noé Acevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Roger Lozano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Léonard Starnes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Léonard Starnes in the 23rd minute of play forced Waskatenau AFC's goalkeeper Roger Lozano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Léonard Starnes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Keewatin getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Léonard Starnes hit a great ball. Perry Wiley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Lozano having to interfere. Thad Belcher hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Constantin Collins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Roy Tabor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Keewatin were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Rudolph Henrichon kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Perry Wiley might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roger Lozano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Perry Wiley ran back to his position shaking his head. If Perry Wiley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Léonard Starnes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Keewatin's supporters rose to their feet, but Léonard Starnes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger Lozano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Waskatenau AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Keewatin:s goal. Roger Lozano went to the wrong direction when Harold Feldman was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The audience was convinced that Perry Wiley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roger Lozano was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. A collision led to Waskatenau AFC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Mitch Charron hit a great ball. Roy Tabor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noé Acevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Constantin Collins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Constantin Collins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Keewatin's Junior Leblanc seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Junior Leblanc the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Keewatin protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Junior Leblanc had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 83rd minute, one of Keewatin:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Keewatin. When Dwain Cyr came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Keewatin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dwain Cyr couldn't finish the play. When Waskatenau AFC's Noé Acevedo in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Keewatin's Léonard Starnes got a good chance for a goal in the 100th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
