To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 15 minutes into the game, Darrick Shields was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lively's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bath the free kick. After 15 played minutes Lively got a freekick which was hit by Darrick Shields. Bath's Salvador Medina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Connie Bingham in the 19th minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Booker Orr was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After a rather tough play, Bath's Winston Diaz got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 46thth minute of the game Valentin Crane who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lively's Corentin Parrish was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The wind increased when Valentin Crane made the kick off in the second half. Rolando Bondy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corentin Parrish having to interfere. In the 80th minute Rolando Bondy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corentin Parrish saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Bath booed when Lively was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Booker Orr didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Bondy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rolando Bondy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
