The attack was good, but when Gary McLaughlin in the 81st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When Rick Delgado fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Waskatenau AFC's protests and gave Rick Delgado a yellow card for diving instead. After 84 played minutes Waskatenau AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rick Delgado. In the 86th match minute, Waskatenau AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thad Belcher to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute of the match Winford Weston shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roger Lozano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Mitch Charron came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Waskatenau AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mitch Charron couldn't finish the play. Constantin Collins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jordon Achin having to interfere. Jordon Achin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noé Acevedo in the 95th minute of play. Ben Bousquet's late challenge caught a Waskatenau AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ben Bousquet helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Kingsclear FC's Ben Bousquet got a free kick in the 96th minute.
