Spectators: 6761 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Leslie Witt got the match started through his kick off. Milo Kaplan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Corentin Parrish firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 8th minute, Connie Bingham left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lively fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Milo Kaplan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Corentin Parrish. That made the score 1-1 in the 13 minute of play. Niagara FC's Ashley Storey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leslie Witt in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to Niagara FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Norman Beauchamp hit a great ball. In the 24th match minute, Lively was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leslie Witt to maneuver through the defense. Leslie Witt charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leslie Witt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th minute, Leslie Witt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Corentin Parrish made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Milo Kaplan sent off a good shot on target. Lively's Corentin Parrish played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Léonce Cummings in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Léonce Cummings recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Corentin Parrish. Léonce Cummings showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Ashley Storey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Connie Bingham in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th match minute, Niagara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Warner Tatum to maneuver through the defense. When Mauricio Guibord fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lively's protests and gave Mauricio Guibord a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Mauricio Guibord hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 45 played minutes, Lively's Lothaire Newcomb shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ashley Storey came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lively reached it. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Léonce Cummings was the one to do the kick off. If Connie Bingham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Milo Kaplan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Corentin Parrish made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Léonce Cummings in the 64th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Connie Bingham left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lively fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. In the 74th minute, Niagara FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Leslie Witt fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 79th minute Leslie Witt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ashley Storey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Connie Bingham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Léonce Cummings received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Corentin Parrish tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ashley Storey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leslie Witt, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lively's zone, Milo Kaplan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Corentin Parrish came out of the goal and Milo Kaplan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92ndth minute of the game Leslie Witt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Niagara FC's Ashley Storey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ashley Storey made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Connie Bingham sent off a good shot on target. Niagara FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
