Lyman Huff didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hollyburn. Lyman Huff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron Lacroix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 10 played minutes Hollyburn got a freekick which was hit by César Masters. When Clondyke AFC's Wiley Hester in 19 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Anton Benedict guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Patrick Lazure hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After 21 minutes of play, Hollyburn's Aron Lacroix made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lyman Huff was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lyman Huff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron Lacroix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorsey Brousse got free with Lyman Huff in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wiley Hester in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anton Benedict saved Hollyburn from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Hollyburn's Edgard Zamora got a free kick in the 30th minute. Burt Salinas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Benedict having to interfere. Dorsey Brousse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lyman Huff having to interfere. The supporters of Hollyburn booed when Clondyke AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Lazure didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Millard Thurman fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hollyburn's protests and gave Millard Thurman a yellow card for diving instead. Millard Thurman kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aron Lacroix to make the kick off. Lyman Huff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aron Lacroix, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute, Dorsey Brousse left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hollyburn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiley Hester in the 63rd minute of play forced Hollyburn's goalkeeper Anton Benedict to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute Dorsey Brousse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lyman Huff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lyman Huff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aron Lacroix in the 90th minute of the match. Wiley Hester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Anton Benedict tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hollyburn's goalkeeper Anton Benedict, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anton Benedict made an important save on a dangerous shot by Warner Rangel in the 97th minute. Hollyburn's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
