Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Wiley Hester got the match started through his kick off. Columbus Martinez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lyman Huff having to interfere. In the 9th minute Rayford Ewing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lyman Huff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Clondyke AFC's zone, Rayford Ewing stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lyman Huff came out of the goal and Rayford Ewing tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Columbus Martinez in the 17th minute of play forced Clondyke AFC's goalkeeper Lyman Huff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Thurston took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eusebio Purcell. Burnsville's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 24th minute Rayford Ewing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lyman Huff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wiley Hester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Eusebio Purcell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wiley Hester did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Eusebio Purcell 30 minutes into the match. Patrick Lazure hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Rayford Ewing recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute Columbus Martinez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lyman Huff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lyman Huff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rayford Ewing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Columbus Martinez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rayford Ewing stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Columbus Martinez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rayford Ewing recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Clondyke AFC's Lyman Huff proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Clondyke AFC from getting a goal against them. Lyman Huff didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 58th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. In the 64th minute, Clondyke AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Columbus Martinez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Burnsville's Eusebio Purcell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Burt Salinas in the 66th minute of play. Eusebio Purcell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Burt Salinas in the 73rd minute of the match. Burt Salinas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eusebio Purcell having to make a save. In the 82ndth minute of the game Wiley Hester who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Burnsville's Eusebio Purcell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rayford Ewing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lyman Huff having to interfere. When Burnsville's Rayford Ewing in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Clondyke AFC's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Hampton got free with Lyman Huff in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elvis Story charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elvis Story the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th match minute, Clondyke AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvis Story to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Burnsville players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
