Spectators: 6731 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the match, Shabagua's goal looked a bit too open when Louis Tinsley came free, but Francis Brock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jerold Moreland fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Shabagua's protests and gave Jerold Moreland a yellow card for diving instead. Macklin FC's Louis Tinsley got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, Macklin FC's goalkeeper Erasmo Boswell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carl Fritz. Francis Brock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louis Tinsley in the 15th minute of play. Brett Dale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Francis Brock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Louis Tinsley in the 19th minute of play forced Shabagua's goalkeeper Francis Brock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Bert Suggs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Macklin FC's zone, Wilbert Douglas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erasmo Boswell came out of the goal and Wilbert Douglas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the match, Shabagua's goal looked a bit too open when Louis Tinsley came free, but Francis Brock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Carl Fritz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erasmo Boswell was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The supporters of Shabagua booed when Macklin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murray Vaughn didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Shabagua's Rosendo McFarland sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erasmo Boswell narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

Brett Dale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francis Brock having to interfere. If Wilbert Douglas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Louis Tinsley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilbert Douglas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Boswell having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Brett Dale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Louie Carpenter was shown his second yellow card after 80 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Jerold Moreland kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Louis Tinsley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Francis Brock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Murray Vaughn's late challenge caught a Shabagua's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Murray Vaughn helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th minute, Murray Vaughn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shabagua's Carl Fritz got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Many of Macklin FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Macklin FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Shabagua were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
