Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Donte Amos started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Ceylon AF's Rick Walls got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donte Amos in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herman Healy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Ceylon AF's Neville Larkin got a free kick in the 8th minute. Western Armenia's Ian Boles quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hong McLaughlin, made in the 9th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Émilien Shelton during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anthon Bergman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vespasien Kiser, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vespasien Kiser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthon Bergman having to interfere. With a little luck, Western Armenia's Anthon Bergman got control of the ball when Justin Course tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dave Santiago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Donte Amos came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Western Armenia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donte Amos couldn't finish the play. Anthon Bergman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vespasien Kiser, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donte Amos in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herman Healy saved Ceylon AF from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donte Amos in the 44th minute of play forced Ceylon AF's goalkeeper Herman Healy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ceylon AF getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Rick Walls hit a great ball. In the 45th match minute, Western Armenia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Williams Ruiz to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vespasien Kiser to make the kick off. Anthon Bergman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vespasien Kiser, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Western Armenia's Anthon Bergman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vespasien Kiser in the 57th minute of play. After 59 played minutes Ceylon AF got a freekick which was hit by Rick Walls. 60 minutes into the match, Western Armenia's Damian Varner broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 62nd minute Vespasien Kiser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthon Bergman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Justin Course received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Anthon Bergman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Donte Amos made a precise shot to the right of Herman Healy. Ceylon AF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Vespasien Kiser took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anthon Bergman. Anthon Bergman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Vespasien Kiser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthon Bergman having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damian Varner got free with Herman Healy in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Ceylon AF's Neville Larkin got a free kick in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Varner in the 81st minute of play forced Ceylon AF's goalkeeper Herman Healy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Donte Amos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herman Healy was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. When Donte Amos came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Western Armenia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donte Amos couldn't finish the play. Damian Varner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ceylon AF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
