Spectators: 6714 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jake Gabriel took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute, Shabaqua FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Edgar Hayes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The attack was good, but when Edgar Hayes in the 7th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After a rather tough play, Shabaqua FC's Mohammed Lucero got a free kick in the 8th minute. If Edgar Hayes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Shabaqua FC's Jeromy Tolbert got a free kick in the 14th minute. Odis Bragg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgar Hayes in the 17th minute. When Noel Christian fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marieville's protests and gave Noel Christian a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Marieville's Noel Christian got a free kick in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Marieville's goal looked a bit too open when Tuan Looney came free, but Lynwood Aldridge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Hayes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, Shabaqua FC's goalkeeper Odis Bragg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgar Hayes. 31 minutes into the game, one of Marieville:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Lynwood Aldridge had in the 33rdth minute some difficulties stopping Quinton Weber's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. If Jake Gabriel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tuan Looney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Lynwood Aldridge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Shabaqua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Thaddeus Nicholas came free, but Odis Bragg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Odis Bragg was a little too slow when Edgar Hayes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thaddeus Nicholas made a kick off. Lynwood Aldridge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jake Gabriel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Jake Gabriel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shabaqua FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jake Gabriel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lynwood Aldridge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tuan Looney who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Lynwood Aldridge when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 68 minutes into the match, Shabaqua FC's Tuan Looney sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lynwood Aldridge narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thaddeus Nicholas struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Odis Bragg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marieville. 75 minutes into the match, Shabaqua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Thaddeus Nicholas came free, but Odis Bragg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Shabaqua FC's Tuan Looney nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lynwood Aldridge made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Edgar Hayes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgar Hayes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Odis Bragg having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Jake Gabriel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lynwood Aldridge. The goal made the score 1-2. Lynwood Aldridge made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Tuan Looney sent off a good shot on target. Jake Gabriel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Lynwood Aldridge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Shabaqua FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Shabaqua FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
