Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alonso Whitaker took the kick off in the first half of the match. Randy Delaney blasted a shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reynaldo Kirkpatrick having to make a save. After 4 played minutes Fitgerald FC got a freekick which was hit by Gérard Miller. Alonso Whitaker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute, Chad Monrency hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sean Beam charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sean Beam the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hanley! The referee gave Fitgerald FC a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Kennith Bland, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hanley's Kieth Finley. 0-1. When Alonso Whitaker came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Fitgerald FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alonso Whitaker couldn't finish the play. Long Staton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kieth Finley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Long Staton in the 21st minute of play. When Fitgerald FC's Long Staton in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hanley's goalie prevented a goal. Lino Neff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute, Fitgerald FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Branden Comer fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Alonso Whitaker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kieth Finley having to interfere. If Lino Neff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Sean Beam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Long Staton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Kieth Finley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Hanley players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fitgerald FC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Randy Delaney to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Branden Comer notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Fitgerald FC's Reynaldo Kirkpatrick. Reynaldo Kirkpatrick was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 58th match minute, Fitgerald FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roch Lanier to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Alonso Whitaker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fitgerald FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alonso Whitaker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kieth Finley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alonso Whitaker in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kieth Finley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Reynaldo Kirkpatrick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Neff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reynaldo Kirkpatrick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Neff, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Alonso Whitaker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kieth Finley having to make a save. In the 86thth minute of the game Randy Delaney who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fitgerald FC's Reynaldo Kirkpatrick was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. John Sharp hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
