Spectators: 6737 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wilbert Douglas kicked off to start the match. The Elmira fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Elmira's Alonso Mack looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Silas Henrichon kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. If Alonso Mack had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the match, Shabagua's goal looked a bit too open when Noble Ashby came free, but Francis Brock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alonso Mack struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Francis Brock didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elmira. Silas Henrichon's late challenge caught a Elmira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silas Henrichon helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Shabagua's Silas Henrichon got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 19th minute of the match Cristobal Kessler sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Francis Brock skillfully saved the ball. Noble Ashby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Francis Brock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Shabagua's goal looked a bit too open when Alonso Mack came free, but Francis Brock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Elmira's Cristobal Kessler got a free kick in the 29th minute. A collision led to Shabagua getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Jerold Moreland hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Alonso Mack got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Elmira's Noble Ashby in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Shabagua's goalie prevented a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Alonso Mack made the kick off in the second half. Francis Brock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonso Mack in the 51st minute of play. Jerold Moreland hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. If Alonso Mack had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Alonso Mack's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francis Brock was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. A collision led to Shabagua getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Carl Fritz hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Fritz in the 71st minute of play forced Elmira's goalkeeper Donnell Altman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Wilbert Douglas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Francis Brock made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Noble Ashby sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Shabagua booed when Elmira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Schmitt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 87 minutes of play, Elmira's Noble Ashby made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francis Brock was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 91st minute, Noble Ashby fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Francis Brock, passed just outside the right post. 1-3 became the score in the 94th minute when Alonso Mack elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Elmira played a much better game than Shabagua and deserved their victory. The Shabagua players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
