Spectators: 6736 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Donte Amos took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Norwood's zone, Damian Varner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marc Gervais came out of the goal and Damian Varner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th match minute, Western Armenia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dominique LaGarde to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the match, Western Armenia's goalkeeper Anthon Bergman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guillermo Elliot. Donte Amos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Gervais having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Guillermo Elliot had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anthon Bergman. Western Armenia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guillermo Elliot was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donte Amos in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marc Gervais prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th match minute, Norwood was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harold Crump to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute of the match Philbert Shaffer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marc Gervais skillfully saved the ball. After 40 minutes, Donte Amos made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Norwood's Marc Gervais tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 44 minutes into the match, Donte Amos notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Norwood's Marc Gervais. Marc Gervais was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Western Armenia were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sherwood Jean stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Damian Varner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Western Armenia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Varner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Norwood getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Marty Meunier hit a great ball. Donte Amos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marc Gervais having to make a save. Damian Varner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Gervais having to interfere. Marc Gervais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donte Amos in the 55th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Western Armenia's Damian Varner slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marc Gervais. That made the score 1-3 after 56 minutes of play. Kip Renteria charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kip Renteria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Western Armenia made a substitution. Lawrence Faulk replaced Ian Boles. Kip Renteria hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Donte Amos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Marc Gervais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the game, Cordell Lamare recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marc Gervais. Cordell Lamare showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. When Damian Varner came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Western Armenia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Varner couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Norwood getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Régis Dodge hit a great ball. Western Armenia made a substitution. Khalefa Al Bloshi replaced Donte Amos.
