Francis Brock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thaddeus Nicholas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carl Fritz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lynwood Aldridge having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thaddeus Nicholas made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Shabagua's goal looked a bit too open when Thaddeus Nicholas came free, but Francis Brock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Carl Fritz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, Edgar Hayes notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Shabagua's Francis Brock. Francis Brock was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Marieville defense, Carl Fritz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lynwood Aldridge. The Marieville fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lynwood Aldridge should have stopped the shot. In the 68th minute, Carl Fritz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lynwood Aldridge was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. 71 minutes into the match, Marieville's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Fritz came free, but Lynwood Aldridge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shabagua's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Thaddeus Nicholas 83 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-2. Thaddeus Nicholas charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thaddeus Nicholas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th minute, Thaddeus Nicholas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilbert Douglas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lynwood Aldridge read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play.
