Lino Neff ran back to his position shaking his head. 73 minutes into the match, Shabaqua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Randy Delaney came free, but Odis Bragg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Hanley's zone, Jake Gabriel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kieth Finley came out of the goal and Jake Gabriel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roderick McCray hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Jake Gabriel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kieth Finley read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. After 86 played minutes Shabaqua FC got a freekick which was hit by Tuan Looney. An unexpectedly hard shot by Randy Delaney in the 89th minute of play forced Shabaqua FC's goalkeeper Odis Bragg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Randy Delaney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hanley's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
