The Ninga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Colombe Lloyd should have stopped the shot. If Bruno Melendez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximilien Henry made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Alden Rudd sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 38 minutes, Alden Rudd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ninga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alden Rudd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Alden Rudd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ninga's Bruno Melendez got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Ninga booed when Clova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norris Walters didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Bruno Melendez came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Ninga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Melendez couldn't finish the play. The Ninga players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Clova were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeremiah Villeneuve stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeremiah Villeneuve in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Colombe Lloyd prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 63 minutes, Guadalupe Morris mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ninga and the Clova players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ninga getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Guadalupe Morris hit a great ball. If Jeremiah Villeneuve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the game, Alden Rudd cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Maximilien Henry was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 73rd minute Jeremiah Villeneuve shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Colombe Lloyd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alden Rudd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximilien Henry having to interfere. If Alden Rudd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Charley Tyler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clova's supporters rose to their feet, but Charley Tyler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Colombe Lloyd breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 94 minutes into the match, Clova's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Melendez came free, but Maximilien Henry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Charley Tyler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clova fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.
