Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bruno Melendez kicked off to start the match. When Blackwater's Denver Baril in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ninga's goalie prevented a goal. After 3 played minutes Ninga got a freekick which was hit by Bastien Ames. Colombe Lloyd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvin Saucier in the 4th minute of the match. Aron Guinn made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Alden Rudd sent off a good shot on target. Aron Guinn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Melendez, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Blackwater's zone, Bruno Melendez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aron Guinn came out of the goal and Bruno Melendez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Blackwater's Lavern Provencher got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute, Hippolyte McDaniel sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Blackwater's Aron Guinn didn't even have to move. Ninga's Colombe Lloyd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvin Saucier in the 18th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Rickie Littlejohn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denver Baril in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Colombe Lloyd prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Colombe Lloyd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elvin Saucier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Blackwater's Aron Guinn got control of the ball when Bastien Ames tried to sneak it across the goal line. Colombe Lloyd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denver Baril in the 33rd minute of the match. Bruno Melendez kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Denver Baril received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Colombe Lloyd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elvin Saucier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Colombe Lloyd having to interfere. Colombe Lloyd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denver Baril in the 45th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Denver Baril made the kick off in the second half. Ninga's Colombe Lloyd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denver Baril in the 54th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Ninga's goalkeeper Colombe Lloyd had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elvin Saucier. If Denver Baril had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elvin Saucier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Colombe Lloyd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denver Baril sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elvin Saucier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Colombe Lloyd made a huge save. After 79 played minutes Ninga got a freekick which was hit by Guadalupe Morris. Colombe Lloyd made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elvin Saucier in the 81st minute. In the 85th minute, Bruno Melendez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Denver Baril took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Colombe Lloyd to make any attempt to save it. Thanh Prescott hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Elvin Saucier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Colombe Lloyd having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Denver Baril kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Colombe Lloyd. That made the score 0-3 in the 94 minute of play. The Blackwater supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Blackwater would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
