Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) Buckhorn FC's Milo Ballard started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Milo Ballard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Guinn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 4 minutes, Thanh Prescott mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blackwater and the Buckhorn FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 6 minutes of play, Blackwater's Denver Baril made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chase Beck was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 9th minute, Lavern Provencher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aron Guinn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lionel Altman in the 10th minute. Elvin Saucier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute, one of Buckhorn FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Buckhorn FC. 20 minutes into the game, Milo Ballard recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aron Guinn. Milo Ballard showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Aron Guinn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lionel Altman in the 26th minute. After 30 played minutes Blackwater got a freekick which was hit by Lavern Provencher. Chase Beck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvin Saucier in the 35th minute of play. Milo Ballard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aron Guinn having to make a save. Chase Beck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denver Baril, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Andres Clements fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Guinn having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Denver Baril made a kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Blackwater's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Clements came free, but Aron Guinn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chase Beck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denver Baril in the 58th minute of play. A hard shot 61 in the game by Elvin Saucier from a close distance when the talented Chase Beck managed to make a qualified save. Buckhorn FC's players were relieved. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rickie Littlejohn during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee gave Buckhorn FC a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hung Beauchamps, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Blackwater's Aron Guinn. 2-2. 69 minutes into the match, Buckhorn FC's Milo Ballard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aron Guinn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 72 played minutes Blackwater got a freekick which was hit by Lavern Provencher. Aron Guinn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milo Ballard in the 77th minute of the match. Blackwater's Elvin Saucier got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Milo Ballard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Guinn having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Buckhorn FC's Jerold Dubois got a free kick in the 85th minute. After having played for 86 minutes, Elvin Saucier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blackwater's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elvin Saucier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute Milo Ballard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Guinn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 95 minutes, Harold Jolicoeur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buckhorn FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harold Jolicoeur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Denver Baril might have been able to make a better finish in the 99th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chase Beck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Denver Baril ran back to his position shaking his head. The Blackwater players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Buckhorn FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
