Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jeremiah Villeneuve started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Clova's Mac Gauthier got a free kick in the 12th minute. Lucien Daley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 17 played minutes Clova got a freekick which was hit by Norris Walters. 20 minutes into the match, Kenneth Laderoute had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maximilien Henry. Clova's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kenneth Laderoute was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 23 played minutes Clova got a freekick which was hit by Mac Gauthier. In the 24th minute of the match Vincenzo Costello shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maximilien Henry showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 25th minute Kenneth Laderoute shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximilien Henry saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Wolstenholme's Russell Sosa got a free kick in the 26th minute. Maximilien Henry made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenneth Laderoute in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucien Daley in the 35th minute of play forced Clova's goalkeeper Maximilien Henry to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Lucien Daley left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wolstenholme fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When Lucien Daley came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Wolstenholme fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucien Daley couldn't finish the play. Charley Tyler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerard Goguen having to interfere. In the 65th match minute, Wolstenholme was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freeman Doran to maneuver through the defense. Charley Tyler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Gerard Goguen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kenneth Laderoute had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucien Daleys short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Maximilien Henry to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Wolstenholme booed when Clova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mac Gauthier didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Wolstenholme's Vincenzo Costello broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charley Tyler in the 89th minute of play forced Wolstenholme's goalkeeper Gerard Goguen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
