Spectators: 6737 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 0) Ron Dempsey started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Yann Carignan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Donn Carroll was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Donn Carroll took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yann Carignan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Thurso FC booed when Woodstock was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnnie Gaillou didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Woodstock's goalkeeper Donn Carroll, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 12th minute, Shaun Cooke made a precise shot to the right of Cary Paquette. Thurso FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Donn Carroll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yann Carignan, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Thurso FC's goalkeeper Cary Paquette had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Shaun Cooke. In the 25th minute, Shaun Cooke left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Woodstock fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 28 minutes into the game, Thurso FC's Yann Carignan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Donn Carroll made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Ron Dempsey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Cary Paquette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Yann Carignan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fredric Cantrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donn Carroll having to interfere. If Fredric Cantrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fredric Cantrell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Fredric Cantrell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Woodstock's Donn Carroll was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yann Carignan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thurso FC's Cary Paquette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shaun Cooke in the 58th minute of play. Ron Dempsey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ron Dempsey struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Cary Paquette didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Woodstock. Shaun Cooke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Thurso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ron Dempsey came free, but Cary Paquette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ron Dempsey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Cary Paquette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donn Carroll took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredric Cantrell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shaun Cooke in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cary Paquette saved Thurso FC from getting behind. With a little luck, Woodstock's Donn Carroll got control of the ball when Yann Carignan tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Woodstock fans cheered their team off the field, for while Thurso FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
