The wind increased when Ron Dempsey made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Woodstock booed when Gronlid AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dannie Panetier didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Gronlid AFC's Myron Erwin got a free kick in the 87th minute. After having played for 94 minutes, Ron Dempsey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Woodstock's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ron Dempsey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gronlid AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
