Reyes Crane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38thth minute of the game Reyes Crane who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Loverna AFC's Murray Hernandez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christian Kimbrough got free with Nicholas Burrell in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Thanks to some nice moves Reyes Crane could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Murray Hernandez however easily saved by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Val Ewing during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Christian Kimbrough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Val Ewing couldn't finish the play. Reyes Crane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Murray Hernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Val Ewing was shown his second yellow card after 74 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Reyes Crane struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Murray Hernandez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dover.
