McMurray FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Couet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Rocky Andrews managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aklavika FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rocky Andrews was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Lopez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Louis Arnold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 16 minutes of play, Aklavika FC's Louis Arnold made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Lopez was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Louis Arnold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Aklavika FC booed when McMurray FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexis McDonough didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Lopez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rocky Andrews, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Aklavika FC's zone, Victor Couet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rashad Rubio came out of the goal and Victor Couet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jarvis Herron lost his temper 43 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Aklavika FC! The goalkeeper, Rashad Rubio, was totally fooled by McMurray FC's Archie Tidwell, who 45 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After the first half Aklavika FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Julio Bingham made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Louis Arnold got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Julio Bingham notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Aklavika FC's Rashad Rubio. Rashad Rubio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rashad Rubio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deangelo Armstrong in the 70th minute of the match.
