When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Burton Davidson took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jamaal Childs to make any attempt to save it. Reyes Crane who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Jamaal Childs when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 10 minutes into the match, Dover's Burton Davidson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jamaal Childs narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Reyes Crane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jamaal Childs having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Dover's Yves Medrano got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 25th match minute, Dover was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alton Womack to maneuver through the defense. If Burton Middleton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Dover booed when Finnegan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Merrill Hansen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Despite this Jamaal Childs quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Burton Davidson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. With a little luck, Finnegan FC's Jamaal Childs got control of the ball when Reyes Crane tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jamaal Childs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Burton Davidson in the 44th minute of play. Jamaal Childs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Burton Davidson in the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Burton Davidson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Josue Tangs short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Nicholas Burrell to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Reyes Crane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Jamaal Childs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilmer Trujillo hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Josue Tang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Nicholas Burrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicholas Burrell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Burton Middleton in the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th match minute, Dover was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Jernigan to maneuver through the defense. Jamaal Childs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Burton Davidson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
