Lyndon Stark didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sunnyslope. Lenny Meunier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sam Douglas having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sunnyslope's Brain Ennis got a free kick in the 35th minute. Cletus Felix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sam Douglas having to interfere. Lyndon Stark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Baril in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Montreal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Baril came free, but Lyndon Stark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseo Dupéré charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Winfred Choi made a great header on Montreal FC's corner, it was just that Sunnyslope's Sam Douglas managed to reach the ball for a save.
