Spectators: 6732 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 0) Sunnyslope's Barrett Bonilla started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nicholas Burrell acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 4th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Toussaint Guertin. After a rather tough play, Sunnyslope's Reynaldo Whaley got a free kick in the 5th minute. When Burton Davidson came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Dover fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Burton Davidson couldn't finish the play. After 9 minutes, Sebastian Baril made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Dover's Nicholas Burrell tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 12 minutes into the match, Sunnyslope's goal looked a bit too open when Burton Davidson came free, but Sam Douglas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 minutes, Danial Oliver mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sunnyslope and the Dover players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 13 played minutes Sunnyslope got a freekick which was hit by Danial Oliver. Burton Davidson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Reyes Crane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sam Douglas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Burton Davidson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Danial Oliver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicholas Burrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Sunnyslope's goal looked a bit too open when Burton Davidson came free, but Sam Douglas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Dover's Burton Davidson in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sunnyslope's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Dover's Arnulfo Lockhart got a free kick in the 30th minute. If Sebastian Baril had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Burton Davidson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sunnyslope's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arnulfo Lockhart was slow to take the kick. During this time Dover's players had a chance to rest. In the 56th minute, Sebastian Baril hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Arnulfo Lockhart managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dover's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnulfo Lockhart was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sam Douglas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Reyes Crane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 63 played minutes Dover got a freekick which was hit by Yves Medrano. Sunnyslope's Sebastian Baril got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Dover getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Zachary Chrétien hit a great ball. Emanuel Therriault struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Nicholas Burrell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sunnyslope. In the 73rd match minute, Dover was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yves Medrano to maneuver through the defense. Sam Douglas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Burton Davidson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alton Womack struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Sam Douglas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dover. In the 90th match minute, Sunnyslope was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danial Oliver to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Burton Davidson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sam Douglas. That made the score 2-1 in the 92 minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sunnyslope fans cheered their team off the field, for while Dover had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
