Spectators: 6725 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 0) Louisburg FC's Aurelio Shipp started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Riceton AFC's Célestin Muniz got control of the ball when Colby Meza tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Louis Willoughby fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Riceton AFC's protests and gave Louis Willoughby a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Louisburg FC booed when Riceton AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Louis Willoughby didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th play minute Colby Meza came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Célestin Muniz. 1-0. Célestin Muniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Shipp in the 14th minute of the match. Odell Shipman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Lucius Dick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Louisburg FC's Aurelio Shipp got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aurelio Shipp had several of the Riceton AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 26 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Célestin Muniz as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Dirk Britt fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Riceton AFC's protests and gave Dirk Britt a yellow card for diving instead. When Aurelio Shipp came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Louisburg FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelio Shipp couldn't finish the play. If Colby Meza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Riceton AFC's Louis Willoughby got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Matthew Bruneau had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucius Dick. Louisburg FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matthew Bruneau was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 41st minute, Aurelio Shipp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aurelio Shipp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Célestin Muniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Célestin Muniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Shipp, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matthew Bruneau to strike the kick off in the second half. If Aurelio Shipp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stanton Chaussée sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Lucius Dick managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Riceton AFC's Matthew Bruneau fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 79th minute Aurelio Shipp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Célestin Muniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Célestin Muniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Colby Meza, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Jamey Bilodeau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Aurelio Shipp notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Riceton AFC's Célestin Muniz. Célestin Muniz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 94th minute Stanton Chaussée shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Célestin Muniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Célestin Muniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Shipp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Riceton AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
