Julio Bingham took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicholas Burrell. Nicholas Burrell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 26th minute Julio Bingham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicholas Burrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Dover's Leo Spencer got a free kick in the 27th minute. 34 minutes into the match, McMurray FC's goal looked a bit too open when Burton Davidson came free, but Ivan Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Arnulfo Lockhart fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dover's protests and gave Arnulfo Lockhart a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th minute, one of Dover:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. After the first half McMurray FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Burton Davidson made a kick off. Victor Couet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Nicholas Burrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th match minute, Dover was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yves Medrano to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 56 minutes, Victor Couet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. McMurray FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Couet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of McMurray FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dover:s goal. The referee gave Dover a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Arnulfo Lockhart, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of McMurray FC's Ivan Lopez. 1-2. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dover's goalkeeper Nicholas Burrell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
