Spectators: 6735 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Forest Bisaillon kicked off to start the match. In the 8th minute, Ignace Mallory hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Louis Willoughby fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Riceton AFC's protests and gave Louis Willoughby a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Riceton AFC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Louis Willoughby hit a great ball. In the 11th minute of the match Lino Fisher sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Célestin Muniz skillfully saved the ball. Riceton AFC's Célestin Muniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sammy Connolly in the 14th minute of play. Granville Patrick made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matthew Bruneau in the 18th minute. With a little luck, Griffin's Granville Patrick got control of the ball when Matthew Bruneau tried to sneak it across the goal line. Odell Shipman did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Granville Patrick 22 minutes into the match. Célestin Muniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Forest Bisaillon in the 26th minute of play. When Forest Bisaillon came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Griffin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Forest Bisaillon couldn't finish the play. 2-0 became the score in the 36th minute when Odell Shipman elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Granville Patrick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Odell Shipman in the 53rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Riceton AFC's Robby Byrd got a free kick in the 60th minute. Griffin's Lino Fisher couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 61st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Riceton AFC. After some careless play in the Riceton AFC defense, Sammy Connolly kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Célestin Muniz. The Riceton AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Célestin Muniz should have stopped the shot. If Odell Shipman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Forest Bisaillon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matthew Bruneau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Odell Shipman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Griffin fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! Robby Byrd shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Riceton AFC's Odell Shipman got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Matthew Bruneau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
