Jamaal Childs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 6 minutes into the match, Finnegan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Odell Shipman came free, but Jamaal Childs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 9 played minutes Riceton AFC got a freekick which was hit by Louis Willoughby. Célestin Muniz stood somewhat misplaced when Josue Tang came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 11 minute. After 18 minutes of play, Riceton AFC's Matthew Bruneau made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jamaal Childs was left in no man's land by his defense there! Célestin Muniz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Josue Tang in the 21st minute. Célestin Muniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Burton Middleton in the 31st minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Finnegan FC's Josue Tang sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Célestin Muniz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Josue Tang ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Célestin Muniz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Burton Middleton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Finnegan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Burton Middleton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Célestin Muniz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Josue Tang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Finnegan FC's Célestin Muniz threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Burton Middleton, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Célestin Muniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Burton Middleton in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th play minute Josue Tang came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Célestin Muniz. 3-2. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Odell Shipman to make the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Riceton AFC! Aubrey Hines walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Riceton AFC's Odell Shipman got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Riceton AFC's Célestin Muniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Burton Middleton in the 65th minute of play. Trenton Pritchard hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Odell Shipman during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Odell Shipman kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Odell Shipman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Burton Middleton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Odell Shipman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Matthew Bruneau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Finnegan FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Matthew Bruneau fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 89th minute Odell Shipman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jamaal Childs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd match minute, Finnegan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lou Bonilla to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Riceton AFC's Robby Byrd tried to score from far away in the 93rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Finnegan FC's goalkeeper Jamaal Childs, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
