Michal Lawler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sam Douglas having to interfere. Michal Lawler struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Sam Douglas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Donalda FC. Sam Douglas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grégoire Stoner in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sunnyslope's goalkeeper Sam Douglas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Grégoire Stoner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Sam Douglas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Barrett Bonilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Barrett Bonilla in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jewell Pike prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Barrett Bonilla might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jewell Pike. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Barrett Bonilla ran back to his position shaking his head. Sebastian Baril fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jewell Pike having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, Donalda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Morris Deaton to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Grégoire Stoner to make the kick off. Jewell Pike showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Baril, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Sam Douglas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grégoire Stoner in the 82nd minute of the match. If Michal Lawler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barrett Bonilla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jewell Pike read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Sam Douglas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Sebastian Baril had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
