Livelong's Quincy Sizemore got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute of the match Quentin Gold shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Santos Brewer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 18th minute Michel Elias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ed Daigneault saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Livelong's Ed Daigneault played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jourdain Stringer in the 21st minute of play. In the 27th minute, Joe Dempsey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santos Brewer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quincy Sizemore in the 31st minute of the match. Ross Capps received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Santos Brewer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santos Brewer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ross Capps, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Ross Capps received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Santos Brewer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 52 minutes into the match, Quincy Sizemore had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santos Brewer. Tweedie FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Quincy Sizemore was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 60th minute, Basile Brunault hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michel Elias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ed Daigneault read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. After 67 minutes of play, Livelong's Ross Capps made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santos Brewer was left in no man's land by his defense there! In a very dangerous position, a player in Livelong fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! Rey Parrish shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Quincy Sizemore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Quincy Sizemore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valentin Davignon kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Tweedie FC's goal looked a bit too open when Quincy Sizemore came free, but Santos Brewer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joseph Beaupré sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Livelong walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
