Spectators: 6733 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Blair Sawyer started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blair Sawyer in the 5th minute of play forced Sirdar's goalkeeper Léonce Roy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Sirdar's goalkeeper Léonce Roy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kurt Fraser. Blair Sawyer's late challenge caught a Sirdar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Blair Sawyer helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Palling AFC's Blair Sawyer got a free kick in the 17th minute. Nick McGraw fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darius Cullen having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Nick McGraw shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darius Cullen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nick McGraw recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jonathon Samuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nick McGraw received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Darius Cullen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a defensive mix-up in Palling AFC's zone, Nick McGraw stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Darius Cullen came out of the goal and Nick McGraw tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Jonathon Samuel came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Sirdar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathon Samuel couldn't finish the play. If Nick McGraw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nick McGraw recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Palling AFC booed when Sirdar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daren Mathis didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Sirdar getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Daren Mathis hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, Sirdar's goal looked a bit too open when Blair Sawyer came free, but Léonce Roy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Orville Hartman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darius Cullen came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Sirdar's Nick McGraw. But to his dismay, Nick McGraw quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 94th minute, Jonathon Samuel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th match minute, Sirdar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brian Thivierge to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute of the match Lavern McCarthy shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Léonce Roy showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Palling AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sirdar were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
