Spectators: 6727 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arden Huot took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 7th minute, Russell Marshall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Arden Huot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Macdiarmid's goal looked a bit too open when Harley Day came free, but Geoffroi Miller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Parker Patel made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Brady Duhamel sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Parker Patel managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Macdiarmid's Lionel Caisse fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 31 played minutes Macdiarmid got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Lejeune. In the 33rd match minute, Sayward FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hipolito Swan to maneuver through the defense. Parker Patel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lionel Caisse in the 34th minute of the match. Alex Reid was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 41st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Laverne Hébert kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Brady Duhamel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Parker Patel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the game, Owen Grandpré was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sayward FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Macdiarmid the free kick. Owen Grandpré hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Sayward FC's Jamey Carnes got a free kick in the 64th minute. Parker Patel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lionel Caisse's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Hipolito Swan's late challenge caught a Macdiarmid's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hipolito Swan helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sayward FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Hipolito Swan hit a great ball. Geoffroi Miller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arden Huot, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Parker Patel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lionel Caisse's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Brady Duhamel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jamey Carnes hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
