Maximo Darby was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rocky Flaherty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl Gabriaux in the 10th minute of play. After having played for 17 minutes, Otha Navarro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scona FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Otha Navarro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Scona FC's Otha Navarro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maximo Darby narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Valentine Montano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Scona FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Amazon's zone, Blaine Tilley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximo Darby came out of the goal and Blaine Tilley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 23 minutes, Aurèle Driver managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scona FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurèle Driver was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rocky Flaherty made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eric Nadeau in the 26th minute. Maximo Darby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Beaulieu in the 27th minute of the match. Rocky Flaherty made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Brendan Heard sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Aurèle Driver's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximo Darby was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Aurèle Driver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Amazon's zone, Aurèle Driver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximo Darby came out of the goal and Aurèle Driver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 45 minutes, Aurèle Driver made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Amazon's Maximo Darby tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aurèle Driver stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Scona FC's Rocky Flaherty played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Nadeau in the 51st minute of play. Rocky Flaherty showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlton Bondy in the 52nd minute of the match. Aurèle Driver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Scona FC's Edward Beaulieu got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maximo Darby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otha Navarro in the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Otha Navarro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Darby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Karl Gabriaux had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rocky Flaherty. Scona FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl Gabriaux was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After a rather tough play, Scona FC's Edward Beaulieu got a free kick in the 68th minute. The supporters of Amazon booed when Scona FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikel Conway didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Otha Navarro came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Scona FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otha Navarro couldn't finish the play. Brendan Heard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rocky Flaherty having to interfere. If Edward Beaulieu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 79 played minutes, Scona FC's Mikel Conway shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maximo Darby came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Scona FC reached it. Blaine Tilley struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Maximo Darby didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Scona FC. If Aurèle Driver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aurèle Driver who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Maximo Darby when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rocky Flaherty took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl Gabriaux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Scona FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
